The article investigates the current international image of Russia and the United States. The author analyzes the image of Russia, developed in the United States, as well as images of America and Americans, formed in the Russian society. The phenomenon of anti-Americanism and its causes. Perceptions of Americans and Russians each other affects interstate relations between Russia and the United States.
